The drive from Prince Rupert to Whistler is about 1,400 kilometres. We did two overnight stops, first at Prince George and second at Lillooet.
There are a lot of lakes worth visiting on the drive from Lillooet to Whistler. Seton Lake, Duffey Lake and Joffre Lake are the key ones we stopped by.

Whistler is a very pretty town, with a lots of activities to do. There are plenty of trails, lakes and mountains all around Whistler. For me, the most scenic activity is the Peak to Peak experience. This starts with a gondola ride up the Blackcomb mountain. Next is another gondola ride from Blackcomb peak to Whistler peak. Then there is the chair lift to the sky bridge. Last, is the descent from Whistler peak back to Whistler town.

We spent 2 nights at Whistler, which is barely enough. Our last place to visit in Canada was Vancouver.
The drive from Whistler to Vancouver has many lookout points with pretty views.

We spent 4 days in Vancouver, of which one full day was spend in Victoria (capital of British Columbia). The key attractions we visited in Vancouver were, Gastown steam clock, Cooper’s park and Stanley Park. Stanley park itself is large and has many attractions (e.g. Lighthouse, Totem Poles, Siwash Rock, Stanley Park Seawall).

For visiting the capital city Victoria, one needs to book a ferry (ideally with a car) in advance (we used BC Ferries). The ferries leave from Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, which is about 35 kilometres from downtown Vancouver.
Victoria is a very pretty city, with beautiful views of the sea. We visited the Beacon Hills Park, did a tour of the legislative assembly and visited Craigdarroch Castle.

The five weeks we spent in Canada were absolutely awesome, with the week in Banff and Jasper being the prettiest. If I do visit Canada again, Banff and Jasper would be a place to visit again. I would also consider the east coast cities like Halifax.
From Vancouver, we boarded on to Princess Cruises, the Royal Princess for a trip to Alaska. More of that in a different page.
