We visited Kenya in August 2016, which is the ideal time to see the great wildebeest migration. We flew into Nairobi from Dubai. We contracted a tour vehicle and first visited Lake Nakuru National Park. Then we drove to Masai Mara, and stayed within the Mara Triangle at Serena Lodge. From Masai Mara, we took a small plane back to Nairobi. We also visited the Nairobi National Park.
The wildlife sightings were extraordinary with amazing views of the great migration. We were lucky to see multiple hunts and kills.
All in all, it was a great experience watching the great migration.
