On Day 3 we made our first landing on the Antarctic continent at Barrientos Island. The zodiacs to and from the ship were quite comfortable. We did a small trek, saw lots of Gentoo and Chinstrap Penguins.
After lunch, we made our second landing of the day – on Half Moon Island. The weather was cold, and snowing. We did a 1 hour trek and saw a lot of wildlife – penguins, skuas and elephant seals.
